Inspired by the "Cicero's bridge" in Cerami, the page holder Cerami embodies an authentic testament to the history and tradition of Sicily. Crafted with care from the trimmings of ancient olive tree pruning, entirely artisanal, Cerami is designed to facilitate the reading of favorite books. This unique piece is intended to be a faithful companion during moments of relaxation, offering not only practicality but also a tangible connection to the local culture and its historical roots.

Among the many ancient and forgotten bridges of Sicily, where the voices of merchants, farmers and travellers once filled the air, one has withstood the test of time and survived man's destructive hand.
Legend has it that the bridge was even mentioned by the supreme Cicero in one of his works. "Ponte di Cicerone" is what the inhabitants of Cerami, a small town in the province of Enna, lovingly call. Here, this architectural masterpiece seems to distance two small strips of sunkissed land, almost as if the ends of the bridge were two graceful fingers holding up the pages of a book.
This is the image that inspired the Cerami Bookmark design, a small artisinal masterpiece that combines sustainability and beauty. Each piece is handcrafted with care and attention, and transforms recycled materials into functional and fascinating objects. Not only will you have a piece of secular Sicily in your hands, but it will make reading easier!
